We are under one mile south of The Pilgrims' Way/North Downs Way. We are a short distance up Sample Oak Lane from Chilworth Railway Station/The Percy Arms pub.

Chilworth railway station has connections to Guildford, London, Reading and Gatwick Airport.

BUS SERVICES are available outside Chilworth Railway Station: Compass bus number 32 to and from Guildford. 
 For bus services to and from other local destinations, Carlone Bus numbers 525, 545 and 599. Also Stagecoach bus number 503.

St Augustine's Abbey, Chilworth has TWO entrances by road:

Coming uphill along Sample Oak Lane from Chilworth Railway Station, the first road entrance is marked by a large Crucifix and takes you to the Abbey Church and Monastic Guesthouse entrances.
The second road entrance is the main entrance and is used for DELIVERIES TO THE MONASTERY (see DELIVERIES green sign by monastery entry door).
Parking for visitors is free on site. 
 
ASSISI ROOM for public meetings

There are two entrances by road to the monastery from Sample Oak Lane. Going up the hill from Chilworth railway station, please turn right at the first road entrance marked by a large Crucifix up the hill to the Abbey Church. Parking is freely available there. Then, please take the footpath to the rear of the monastery until you reach the statue of Our Lady at the end of the paved path. The Assisi Room is through the rear entrance door next to Our Lady, first right once you are inside the building.
